Dear brothers and sisters,

As we close out 2025, I wanted to share a brief year-in-review update and express heartfelt gratitude for what God has sustained through ROOM this past year.

Looking back, I am honestly amazed by how much has happened. Before the year began, I remember telling friends that it felt like God was going to move mountains. Not only because I knew I would be getting married, but because I could smell optimism in the air. In hindsight, I believe He truly was; in ways far beyond what I expected.

This year included international relocation, marriage, and seasons where ministry was carried out part-time alongside outside work. And yet, when I reviewed my own work logs, I was struck by how much the Lord accomplished anyway. Again and again, God proved faithful, even when I felt inadequate. For all of this, I have nothing but praise for Him. My prayer is that He would continue to grant favor to this work until Christ returns, and that we would remain faithful to the calling for which He has called us.

Below is a snapshot of what God sustained through ROOM over the last year. I pray it will encourage you. Thank you for your prayers and support.

What God Sustained Through ROOM in 2025

• ROOM maintained year-round gospel ministry in VRChat without interruption, even through major life transitions .

• One missionary led 40+ Bible studies, hosted 30+ VRChat outreach events, and shared the Gospel dozens of times, including a documented profession of faith in Christ.

• Ministry extended beyond first conversations into ongoing discipleship, Bible studies, counseling sessions, and one-on-one prayer.

Alongside live ministry, ROOM also produced:

• 20+ long-form teaching videos and 50+ Shorts

• Over 30,000 total views and 150+ hours of watch time

• Foundational resources including the “What Is ROOM” video, the launch of the Light the Way campaign, and the design, printing, and distribution of 300 physical brochures

• The Walls Down bi-weekly newsletters launched in November, with four issues published by year’s end.

At the PCA General Assembly, ROOM spoke directly with 110 individuals about digital missions and gospel outreach, helping raise awareness of the need for faithful ministry in online spaces.

Throughout the year, ROOM also worked alongside other Christian ministries and leaders in joint evangelism nights, ministry discussions, and broader conversations about online missions and training. Supporter communication continued through newsletters and updates, and ministry output remained consistent and uninterrupted — all carried out by a single missionary committed to long-term faithfulness.

How You Can Pray

Please pray that the Lord would raise up faithful volunteers and increase financial support so this work can continue sustainably. In particular, we are currently seeking help with:

• Video editing

• Hosting VRChat events

These roles would directly relieve bottlenecks and allow ministry efforts to expand while remaining healthy and consistent.
